Beryl Air

Had a great flight to Brooks Camp. The booking process was easy and Stephanie did an awesome job flying us there and explaining things during the flight. Very professional and personable. Would absolutely fly with them again.

We have the utmost respect and admiration for Stephanie at Beryl Air. She just flew us to both Katmai NP at Brooks Falls and Lake Clark NP. What a magical day!nnWe are national park fans, thus it was important to visit both parks today. Stephanie made that happen for us. Her manner is relaxed yet focused. We felt very safe all day. Weather was a bit inclement in the morning, so she literally went out of her way to find a safe route to our destination. Her take offs and landings were flawless. Her float plane is a beauty and she takes meticulous care of it.nnOur expectations were high, but the day exceeded them. Brooks Falls was flooded with salmon and busy with brown bear. It was a bucket list day.nnOn our return flight she took us over Lake Clark NP. She chose the route specifically to highlight a river valley, a series of peaks with their cirque glaciers, then brought us down through the head of the bay. The mountains of Lake Clark are very different from those at Katmai, more jagged and rugged and sharp.nnThis woman is talented and skilled. I am so glad we flew with her today!nnP.S: Nina, her scheduling and logistics person does a fantastic job. Highly recommend!!!

This was such an awesome experience! Nina did a great job working with me and organizing my flight! Stephanie was so awesome and had so much knowledge of the area! We went on the Cook Inlet flight and got to see the Volcano, quite a few bears, and even a wolf! She really did an amazing job!

We're a commercial fishing family, and we had a tricky crew exchange to do during valuable fishing time. Beryl Air was stellar in every way. They were flexible and understanding and incredibly reliable. They worked with us so that we didn't miss any fishing time at all. We'll be using them for any future fishing needs.

The experience was top notch from start to finish. Our pilot Stefanie was a great communicator, and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and had a great time. I am an aircraft owner and commercially rated sea plane pilot so I am somewhat qualified to comment on the flying portion of the experience. The Cessna 206 were flew in was very well equipped, and all my questions relative to the age and maintenance of the aircraft were answered in a fashion that made me very comfortable. As for the actual flight, Stephanie exhibited a very professional approach to the flight, and flew the aircraft with the comfort and precision that comes with thousands of hours of real world experience.nnAs for the bear watching. An amazing not to be missed bucket list item. We saw mature bears, sows with cubs, and adolescents. Almost as amazing as the bears were the hundreds of thousands of salmon gathered at Brooks falls making their way upstream to spawn.nnWeather you are considering Beryl Air for a flight charter or a scenic experience I am convinced you will find the experience to your liking.nnFWIW, we have no connection to Beryl Air in any manner - we asked Captain Curt (a wonderful boat captain we had the pleasure of taking a boat taxi ride with) from Mako's water taxi what we should do in Homer and he promptly suggested Beryl Air and the bear watching charter. We ere able to get a reservation and immensely enjoyed our day. Thanks Beryl Air!
