Owner of the business Austin W. runs a real s#it show of a business. Out of 8 calls placed to him one was answered without having to leave a voicemail. Finally get in touch and set a date to go through orientation. Austin vale to reschedule something came up. No big deal life happens. We reschedule for next week I make a 45 drive over here to be told on the way by him via text he can’t make it I’ll be meeting a guy named John I ask for the contact info for John......no reply. I arrive on site to no John (probably not John’s fault judging by Austin’s lack of communication). They call John and he says he isn’t here and I’ll have to reschedule waste of a drive. Must be rolling in the money to be such a loser of a business owner and make his customers have to chase him to give him their business.

This was the best day of our lives taking our kids up with Pilot Addison Hemphill! She is professional but also knows how to have fun and really make the experience amazing!!!! Have told everyone I know about this place! Going back in a couple weeks!

They help every student reach.... nay, EXCEED, their piloting goals and dreams.nnOl’ Escobar needs you to fly under the radar and deliver packager for him? They teach it!nnWanna learn aerial surveillance for Uncle Putin? Done.nnAdmiral Isoroku Yamamoto’s kin needs you to learn how to dive bomb? Easy.nnStriving to become an astronaut to one day ACTUALLY land on the moon? This is the place!nnJust want to get your license to fly around an contribute to global warming?!? No problem.nnFlying Tigers has your back for everything aviation related. If you aren’t inverted and keeping up with foreign relations after flying with them, you come find me, and I’ll show you what I’ve learned directly from them.

I know my review is long overdue and late but I gt my PPL back in 2008 at tigers back when they were at Hobby. All I can say is that balc then they were a reputable and excellent flight school that got my career started. I don't know how they are today but I started my multi back in 2010 there and did my CFII there in 2012. I've always had good instructors and for the most part a well maintained fleet. I will always have love and respect for this flight school, even though I don't use flight schools any more. My rating is solely based my past experience but that was years ago. Support this place the best you can and give it a chance. Once again I can't speak on their performance today, but they were a good group of people back then and I'm sure they still are , now.
