I've been trying to call for weeks, they wont answer, just gets disconnected. I usually call League city they will answer. I sent in certified court docs for my kids name to be changed due to step father adoption. Hoping I get the docs back, they also said we have to mail in our actual DL or passports. These offices need to open up. Or have zoom as an option for verifying docs.

I called the Pasadena SSA Office to ask a question and I only had to wait about 5 minutes to talk to an agent. The agent was friendly and helpful. It was a good experience.

Post Covid 19, Scheduling an appointment is mandatory to visit the office and they are allowing only the people who have one scheduled. Applied for a new SSN and the service was quick and satisfactory. The only thing I didn’t like was the time they took to schedule my appointment. Had to wait for 3-4 weeks.

It’s hard to get them to answer your phone calls but once they do, they’re helpful and efficient
