Fairmont Pediatrics

So my daughter suffers from anxiety and depression. She didn't get a refill on her prescription for the month of April like she has been the last couple of months. I call the office on burke today to let them know and they tell me the Dr that previously prescribed her medication THAT SHE CANNOT GO A DAY WITHOUT MISSING because it can be a negative side effect is no longer with the office as of Wednesday! And then tell me that there is nothing they can do and refer me to a mental institution instead. Umm this is last minute and they should've followed up with their patients to let them know that the Doctor would no longer be there so I could've had time to find her another Doctor that could treat her and not miss any days on her medication. My daughter was treated at the burke location and they tell me she was a la Porte Doctor. Well then why did she see her at Burke ?? They continue to tell me there is nothing they can do about it. They cant even give her at least a weeks worth of medication to give me time to find her another Doctor. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. Someone should have contacted me. Her being off her medication could be life threatening.

I have been calling for over a week and no one has answered the phone even once? How is this place still in business? Do yourself a favor and forget this place, go somewhere that cares and appreciates your business, not a place like this that obviously has so much business they don't even care about answering a phone.

Do not take your kids here! My SON needed a referral to be seen by a specialist. They spelled his name wrong & also listed him as a girl. It took 5 days to get a referral! I’ve never seen so many unprofessional mistakes in my life. 4 referrals total had to be fixed because of careless mistakes. Doctor Jilly is amazing here, but her staff is not.

Had our first visit yesterday. I found this office through the TX children’s health website and I guess they still have the old address listed. I went to that address and when I couldn’t find suite 102 inside, I asked another receptionist there where the pediatrician’s office was. I was told that they moved and that patients often mistakenly come to the old location. Well it looks bad if this is a common occurrence. I look online and the other address listed is only 7 minutes away so I head that way. I tried to call twice to verify the address before, but each time as soon as the receptionist picks up the phone, she puts me on hold before I can say anything!! I think you should at least see what the patient needs or see if it’s an emergency before immediately putting on hold and not letting them speak. By the time she answered the phone I had just parked. The wait time really wasn’t bad at all. Dr. Jilly was very kind and thoroughly explained every part of the exam, and my kids seemed to like her. She asked if I would email shot records to the front desk so we walked up there. Staff literally ignored her when she tried to get their attention a couple of times. So we stood there waiting for several minutes before they acknowledged her. It says a lot about staff/a practice if a doctor is being disrespected like that. Dr. Jilly was kind and patient with staff while this was going on. I can overlook some things because I understand things can get busy so we will come back.
