When I was looking for movers, they came in all shapes and sizes. The big companies were super expensive, and the ones that you hear about from your cousin's best friend's roommate are super cheap, but seem sketchy. Bay Area Movers fits somewhere right in the middle. They are reasonably priced, but were very professional. I recommend Freddie and his crew, as they came with good attitudes, lots of energy, very polite, strong, and super efficient.
My moving crew was on time and very efficient! They loaded items from multiple locations then moved me into an apartment. They made this move my smoothest one yet - and way less stressful than previous moves!

I needed to move inherited items from my parents' house in Galveston to my home and a storage unit in Friendswood. I got a quote from Bay Area Movers for 7-8 hours, which including travel time between Galveston and Friendswood. Foreman, Marquis Simmons, and helpers, Joshua Washington and Arlton Ardrey arrived promptly in Galveston and loaded everything in an hour. The move involved stairs in both the house and a garage apartment. They met me back at my storage unit in Friendswood, unloaded some of the items there, then met me at my house to unload the rest of the furniture. Marquis and his crew were extremely professional and courteous. They completed the move in only 4 hours, saving me a substantial amount of money. Many thanks to Bay Area Movers, Marquis, Joshua, and Arlton, for a job well done!
