Nissan was my barber and he did a fantastic job giving me the cut I wanted. Also, the shop has a cool vibe and it’s not overpriced like some of the other high-end places around the area. I would recommend to anyone looking to get a fresh cut.

Great haircut and been better service! My barber was Nissan and he did a great job with my hair. My haircut is pretty complex and I am picky about how I want it done, but Nissan listened to me and even double checked his work to make sure it was perfect. Will be coming back regularly.

Mike is one of a kind. One of the nicest guys and will take care of you in the chair. Makes you feel like family. I recommend 10 out of 5 stars!

I have been a regular at a couple of Lu's shops since I moved down to the SE Houston area in late 2017. All of my experiences at Lu's were stellar. I cannot speak highly enough about the friendliness, professionalism, and of course, the incredible final results every time.nNow, I have love for all Lu's barbers who have previously groomed me, but I wanted to talk about one in particular: Mike.nnMike is easily one of the best barbers I've encountered. He knows exactly how I want my hair and although I'm not too nitpicky, I trust him to have full control of the look while I'm in his chair. Not only is Mike an excellent barber, but he's also great at making conversation. Any time I go in for a cut, time flies because we're talking the whole time. He has also been gracious enough to provide me with his wisdom and talk about life experiences and it's almost like a therapy for me. When I walk into Lu's, it feels less like an exchange of money for services and more like meeting a friend and catching up.nnLu's has a true gem in Mike; an expert at his craft, a barber who is passionate about his job, and a genuinely nice and insightful guy. If Lu's does not already know this, I hope this review will help. I will be coming back to Lu's as long as Mike and/or I are around.
