Well so much good to tell. Boyce is so kind and helpful and I enjoyed our conversation as well. His business there kicked off in September, a time of covids rough start, and shortly followed by the big freeze that shook the big city and surrounding to its core, but in true Texan fashion this store is still standing tall, so be sure and visit this beautiful place as well as get to know it's owner, a store with the same given feeling as the cities first half of the name. My name is Roger Browning. Author of'The Reckoning of Rance.' A book about a troubled family of inheritance, set of a ranch of modern day Texas. I am north Texas born, a rancher and have been in the life since then. My true love is the written word and it's form given by the individual link. I come from the same region as that of Larry McMurtry and writer Black, with only twenty or so separation miles difference between fences. I believe the harshness of our region gives into the writers will to show it and believe me there is still more of the story for the telling, that of, 'The last picture show.' Especially from this writers perspective. Look up my book and buy it. I truly believe if you are a reader you will be glad that you did. It's rough as the land and it's characters but someting of equal blend and recognizable to more than those of the lifestyle it portrays.
