Bull Creek Cafe & Grill

This is a wonderful family style restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed the menu is varied enough so selecting a meal is easy and best of all the food is very well prepared and the service is excellent.nnI ordered the liver and onions, a childhood favorite, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a small steak and it was cooked to perfection. We capped off our meal with peach cobbler and ice cream.nnIf you are looking for a good meal in Rosenberg TX give Bull Creek a try.

I got the grilled chicken breast with the loaded mashed potatoes. It was so good. The yeast roll reminds me of the ones we got in school. They make the salad dressing. The whole meal was outstanding. I’m not in Rosenberg often but when I am I’ll be eating here.

Called in an order at 5:47pm. Told us it would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived at 6:20pm. We were told they had a rush and had to take care of them first because they needed the tables. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes. My wife said she wanted to speak to someone in charge and was ignored. The time before we had to wait about the same time and was charged 20 dollars extra as a tip. I don't think we will be back. Sad the food is good. Service sucks.

Visited Bull Creek with my family after my husband saw the great reviews online. I had grilled chicken with green beans and a side salad. The chicken and green beans were delicious but the side salad was disappointing due to having a large piece of cucumber, a large purple onion slice, and a large piece of tomato. Chop the veggies guys. Huge chunks of vegetables don't work in a salad. The honey mustard dressing also did not taste like honey mustard and seemed like mostly an oil flavor.nMy husband ordered the hamburger steak with mac and cheese but traded his mac and cheese to our son for his steak fries. He really enjoyed his food. I thought the steak fries were a little tough.nOur son had chicken bites and his dad's mac and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious but the gravy (while good) tasted of garlic more than a traditional cream gravy.nOur rolls were great. Social distancing and masks were being enforced. Our server was patient and friendly.nMy main negative was due to their cups. I ordered a water and it tasted bad, like cleaning solution (which we told our server). The server brought me another water to try and it tasted the same. He said sometimes their water tasted strange so I ordered a Sprite instead. This also had a very strong cleaning solution scent. My son's water in a disposable kid's cup tasted fine. So clearly the issue was their cups.nOverall, I would definitely return to Bull Creek but I would bring in a water bottle.

Food is good, Average price for meal for 2 $50.00. Waiters are friendly. But the main complaint I have is the kitchen takes forever to get you food. This time it took 50 MINUTES!!!
