I've been avoiding this because I heard of the long lines but I made an appointment it was at 3:20 p.m. today I got there at about 2:50 a check my temperature looked at my application and birth certificate told me to go set in a certain area there was a man there that told me which seat to set in, there was probably 40 to 50 people ahead of me, there were two people working our area as a cubicle came open they would tell you which number to go to my number was called they asked me for my application my birth certificate and my social security card and I had a pound of other things I thought they might want got finished paid walked out the door looked at my clock it was 3:42 so I was in there about 40 minutes everyone was extremely nice happy really good experience special for an old guy
Well run. Professional in approach. Be certain to have all paperwork/documents with you. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful.
My daughter and I went to this office for her permit on 10/14. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Especially the lady who worked on the whole documents with us. She was very carefully and patiently. She reminded my daughter everything she need to take care. Even just took the ID picture, she spent some time on taking a good picture. I’m so impressed with her doing. Thank you!
One of the very best DPS offices in the US. Their officers are very friendly and go the extra mile to help even when you have issues that are totally your fault. Love them.
