Waited 3 months for appointment only to be told that I have to have an eye doctor sign off that my lazy eye is not correctable (due to inability of license office to use eye machines). Now have to make and pay for eye appointment for something that’s never been an issue in five previous states I’ve lived in. Falls into category of things that would’ve been good to know 3 months ago. Let alone take additional time off from work as a result.
Today I had the most unprofessional encounter I’ve ever had in any establishment. Caroline if I'm not mistaken at desk number three in the tax office today 04/18/2019 around 3:30. Was terrible, she was rude making snarky comments. Didn’t properly explain how she wanted the paperwork filled out. Then kept huffing and puffing while I was filling out the forms. She asked after five minutes if I was almost done. Because she obviously had better things to do than her job. I hope whoever reads this will take actions to rectify the situation. This person should not be in a position to deal with the public if the attitude I was shown today is the norm. I will definitely be using different offices in the future, and I highly recommend others do also.
Little Elm police advised to come to this location for drivers license. These people move like pond water, clearly water time processing through, only to windows open. They made it perfectly clear they had no motivation to serve. It's pretty clear that although they have a DPS location for drivers licenses here, they really don't want anyone to come here. I literally stood in line for an hour and a half with the line not moving at all, then they announced the payment system was down state wide, so they literally could not process anyone. Another in line said this was the second time she had come here to try to get her license with something like this happening. Even operational, prior to the announcement,i took them on average over 30 per person. Unacceptable.
Very slow... rude and total lack of consideration that people have just invested 4 hours of their lives waiting. Texas DPS site gave a list for learners permit items and the very rude clerk insisted on 1 additional proof of residency. I think the part that bothered me the most was the very rude and unprofessional attitude she gave us. If you don’t like your job you should find another job. Maybe she was having a bad day!! I came to this same office a year ago with my son completely different experience. Obviously they have hired some not so professional people. Beautiful building but terrible service even for government standards!
AVOID DMV. Two hour wait before you even get in the room. But worse, an officer on a power trip harassing those waiting in line by lecturing parents to keep their toddler from walking in the hall, getting on people who were sitting down, including an elderly gentleman, for allegedly blocking the walkway (which was not the case, there was plenty of room).
