I really wanted to love this place because I'd heard great things about the other locations. Maybe it was just an off night, but it took our server a long time to greet us and it wasn't busy at all. My mom and I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and it was so salty. I've never sent a dish back in my entire life, but the salad was not edible. The manager came over and took our order for something else. I ended up ordering the bacon cheeseburger and asked for it to be cooked well done because I'm pregnant. Thankfully I checked my burger before biting into it because it was VERY pink on the inside. My mom ended up trading dishes with me so I could eat. Like I said, hopefully it was just an off night for the restaurant, but still very concerning.

City Works is an ‘eatery and pour house’ style restaurant, with a focus on classic American food with a twist.nnThey offer 90 craft beers on draft, pouring from 200+ taps across two floors, as well as wine on tap!nI love that they are supporting other local businesses by dedicating 40% of their beer list to local breweries here in Texas.nnThey have around 9,000 sq. ft. of interior floor space plus a spacious outdoor patio, this place is massive y'all!nnWe had:nQueso DipnSmoked chicken wingsnFish TacosnNashville Hot Chicken WrapnBackyard FlightnnY'all their smoked chicken wings were BOMB! I loved the queso dip and my fish tacos.. my friend can attest that the Nashville HOT chicken wrap is definitely HOT! I had a blast trying my beer flight and the service was great!

The scorpion burger is a must try. Wow, you will not be disappointed. The service and atmosphere was exceptional also. A fun place to hang out with your friends. Good food, good times.

Only ranking 4 stars because I only came in for a couple drinks, I did not eat here. The Old Fashioned was good but not the best I've ever had. Once I come back to eat, this rating may change.

I originally wrote a review about this restaurant not being so great as far as the food being bland and service just ok not great. After my post the owner reached out and was super nice and gave me a gift card for a second chance of the restaurant.. I wanted to really thank him for the customer service and caring for your patrons. My husband and I returned and had dinner and our meal was better than the first time. Thank you again!
