Robin's Nest Montessori School

I could not be happier with Robin's Nest. I know my daughter is cared for and attended to. The owner, Ms. Robin is engaged, caring, structured, and trust-worthy. The teachers are also very attentive, respectful, and obviously knowledgeable. The school is warm and inviting, and feels like the extension of our home. If you're looking to enroll here, make it happen!

I’m sharing my own experience and yours might be different from mine.nnMy daughter started going to Robin nest Jan 2020 only for 2 days a week. My daughter loved Ms. rosi her friends and the teachers. I had no issues regarding her care or the facility. But this one incident impacted me so negatively I will never bring my daughter back. With the shelter in place taking into effect on march 25. Robin Whitt the owner sends out a mass message to all the parent around mid day saying per guidelines of the shelter in place for parents to bring their child on March 25 a letter from their employer is needed stating they are essential workers as she is only caring for essential workers children. Ok that’s fine her choice . But as you can see, she gave not even 24 hours for parents to find alternative care. Who are still working (essential or not ) who may be essential but working from home Etc. I contact robin and ask where does it say a letter is required as I looked at the shelter and place order and nothing says a letter is required she proceeds to give me numbers to the agencies who she says gave her this information. I do my duty and fact check I contacted both places ( child care licensing and the commission office ) both agencies said their no such thing as a letter required. They did let me know it could be up to the facility to mandate any other orders as they wish. To add my tuition was paid all of March and I was told last minute my daughter could not come, when ive Alrdy paid for the entire month, not on my own doing but by robins and she made it clear I was not getting a refund on her own decision to refuse my child from attending. To add iam a essential worker who works for a major health insurance company who was unable to provide me such letter because it was not required by the government for one and such letter has to be produced by our legal team to issue letters in that capacity. On top of this she wants parents to keep the contract we signed which says 30 days notice is required and next month tuition. Lol are you serious ? She even told me just like I have bills to pay so does she. That comment alone lead me to realize she was capitalizing On this situation. I was never confrontational with robin and paid my tuition on time for the short time I was there and I would have been more then willing to pay, but how she acted in this situation was very shocking. Times like this be weary on the business you support and how they treat you.

My daughter attended Robin's Nest for almost 2 years and we absolutely LOVE Ms. Robin and Ms. Rosi! It was the hardest decision to take her out but we have 3 little ones and it just made more since to keep them all home with me at the time. Your kids will get much love here! Also, she learned so much and was much more mature (if you can call a 2 year old mature lol). And they took the lead potty training - I was at home with newborn twins and didn't have the energy so that was nice!

This was the best decision my husband and I made sending our kids there. It was such a wonderful experience that we also did kindergarten to. It wasn't just about education there are so many other things that Mrs. Robin does for the kids, she is amazing at her job and has a gift for children. We love you and miss you but thank you for such a awesome foundation we are blessed, we had you to be a part of their education.
