Savory Kitchen Bar

We decided to try this place for lunch. The soup of the day was garlicky potato. It was served with a dollop of sour cream and chives on the side. It was rich, thick and flavorful. We also shared a wild salmon sandwich. It was served on crusty toasted bread which had a dill spread on it. It was very tasty. You can get fries, fresh veggies and a dip or the daily side. The side was a well flavored pasta salad. The presentation was very nice. All the garnishes and ingredients were high quality. I will go back when I am in the area again. I would like to see fresh brewed iced tea. Of course this can be made at the table with hot tea and a large glass of ice.

Man the food was hot and delicious. Everything was made to order and seasoned to Perfection. Forgot to take a pic of the Brisket Fries but they were the bomb. Great and friendly service to top it off. We will definitely be back to try additional menu options.

The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice. The food was seasoned just right. Awesome portion size. We chatted with the owner for about 30- 40 mins. He is very cool and easy to chat with. Overall we drove about an hour and the food and conversation was well worth it. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation for noon and upon arrival was greeted and seated promptly. However after that things went downhill fast. Placed my drink order and that took forever to receive. Upon finally receiving my drink order and as I was about to place my food order I was told by my waitress that I would not be able to place my order at the moment as the cook was trying to get out a large table order before accepting any other orders. Of course I look puzzled because I've never heard of this before in my life. I can't literally place my order because he's cooking other food?? I was then informed that it's only one cook and one expo person and with them being open back to full capacity they are busy and backed up, however they can bring us some bread and jelly to hold us over. When asked when we would be allowed to place an order I was informed that she wasn't sure however when I can place an order it would still be about an hour wait to receive our food. At this point I'm irritated and frustrated because as a customer how is it my fault that a business didn't plan accordingly and think to have more than one cook and then think it's ok to tell the customer they can't even place an order until an undetermined amount of time? What's the point of having a reservation if I can't even get service?? Overall just a horrible experience and I'm highly disappointed.
