Visited the Denton county court house on 5533 FM 423 to get new car registered. Staff are very helpful and quick to assist. In particular, Shine helped my through the process and was extremely polite even when I didnt have the correct information and documentation. She is wonderful and would highly recommend she gets promoted within the department, excellent example of customer service with a smile,..... thank you Shine!

Great experience as far as tax offices go. ;) You never have to wait long--especially on a weekday. Staff is helpful and location is convenient.

Transferred a vehicle title and registration. Arrived on a Friday, right near closing time. Parked right out front. Went in, took a number. It was a very short wait and, as long as you have all your documents in order (RIF) and the necessary ID to back it all up, you should have no issues. Was in and out in a jiffy and the staff was courteous and professional.

The individuals I dealt with at this office today, one being the supervisor were rude and dismissive. I went in to renew my vehicle registration and was spoken to in a condescending manner when I asked about the expiration date shown on the newly issued sticker which would expire a month premature to the current month we're in. All the representative had to do was inform me of the penalty assessed by the state for allowing the registration to expire instead of finger counting is if I don't know how to count to 12. Her actions were completely uncalled for so I asked to speak with the supervisor and she just stood and stared at me as if she could care less and stated she would pass the message on. On the upside I was able to get in and out rather quickly however if you plan on visiting this office anytime soon be aware that you might have to deal with unprofessional office staff.

Getting antique plate for my toy car and had to be at the office. The Denton County Tax Office reopened June 1 when the pandemic is under control.nnWebsite says to call to make appointment but on the phone I was told no need for appointment it is first come first served. I am guessing the volume is not as much as expected. Waited about 15 minutes which was reasonable.nnThe office entry and exit is set up for 1 way flow. Customers wait at main entrance until allowed in so that not too many people are inside. Inside the waiting hall chairs are set up for social distancing. Staff wears mask but customers are not required to. There is cleaning staff that cleans the booth each time a customer left.nnThe staff was courteous and efficient. I had to get the randomly issued plate because I don't have my own correct year of manufacture plates. I was reassured by the clerk that once I will find the correct year of manufacture plates I can change to that.nnIt was difficult to find information of what plates were used after 1994 when the state switched to a sticker on the windshield instead of on the plate.nnShe went on to help me with finding the correct year of manufacture plates by showing me the list they use with pictures of the plates for the year. Now I can search for the plates and don't have to rely on whatever the vendors try to sell me.
