SLOW TO RESPOND. MY PIPES WERE COMPROMISED IN TEXAS RECENT STORMS IT HAS BEEN 10 DAYS AND COUNTING AND THE ADJUSTER HAS YET TO GET WITH ME. MY HOUSE IS A MESS AND IT APPEARS THEY DONT CARE.

They were really nice and helpful.nnI will say that I was disappointed that one of the agents provided me the wrong termination date for my existing policy and then started my new policy the following week leaving a lapse in coverage that I had to pay out of pocket for with my bank. The company refused to underwrite those 7 days despite that I was willing to sign an affidavit saying I did not have any claims then.nnI went to cancel the policy online later when I sold the house a few months later and it never went through. I ended up having to provide my settlement statement proving that I had indeed sold the house since it was finally processed 30 days later. It wasn't a lot of extra work, but annoying none the less.nnMy new agent in Phoenix ended up taking care of everything for me and made things really easy. Overall a better experience.

I have extensive hail damage and they are refusing to pay to replace my roof. They take my money for the home insurance but are now saying due to the age of my roof they will not pay for replacement. I had 3 different roofing companies say it needs to be replaced because of the hail damage not due to the age!

I am not sure Kristin is a real person. She is never in the office. She does not return calls or emails. You get stuck with the staff there, that is not a good experience.

I purchased a house in Lubbock for my son to live in while in college. I was told by this agency that I had to buy an investment property/landlord policy because it was not my primary residence. I was also told that I would be covered in the same manner. Well, fast forward 18 months and my truck was burglarized and incurred $5,000 in losses. Come to find out that personal property is not covered under the Allstate Auto Comprehensive policy or my landlord homeowners policy. So kind of fell into no man's land. It would have been nice to know because now, after talking to other agents I could of purchased a standard policy and this information/direction from this agent could have been different.nnThis agency has very nice people and are normally very responsive except when you have a major problem and they disappear. Check thoroughly the accuracy of what they recommend because you may get stung too.nnI sent an email and communicated my displeasure but no return call or email back. I guess when a client gets screwed they aren't motivated to be responsive. Do your homework to assure what happened to me doesn't happen to you.
