Our entire family, ages 5 - 47, LOVES RockStar Martial Arts - Prosper. The coaches are amazing! Their knowledge is vast, and their patience with beginners is incredible. We felt welcome from day one even though we'd had zero training before hand. The environment is one of learning and safety; with an emphasis on empowering and encouraging women to learn and grow! Be ready to learn and to sweat!nHowever, make sure you get a full explanation of everything you’re given to sign and that contracts are explained in length without any interruptions. In a change to my monthly payment amount to pay for uniforms it renewed my contract without my knowledge and after months of asking for help to get out of it, they’re refusing to let us out of the contact even though I thought I was only agreeing to an additional monthly fee being taken out for 4 months to pay for uniforms. Be aware.

I recently moved to Texas and was staying at a friends house and decided to train at the local Jiu jitsu spots nearby while looking for an apartment and I was extremely impressed. Laura was very welcoming and friendly and made me feel at home. The instruction was amazing and I was there for only one class. The professor was very interactive with the students and I could tell that the technique was top notch. I ended up moving into an apartment that was located in the colony so I couldn’t make this school my home but I would definitely recommend this school to anyone in the area.

Coach Josh and Laura are amazing coaches who are very knowledgeable in jiujitsu and detailed in their teaching methods. They breakdown the techniques, explain concepts and focus on their students. I have enjoyed being a part of such a great gym that is loaded with quality coaches and training partners.

We love RockStar Martial Arts! Our son loves going and Coach Cody and Coach Rodrigo are so great with him as he develops his skills. They keep the facility super clean and they are always professional and respectful. If you're looking for a great place to get our kids started with martial arts, this place is the best! Can't recommend them enough!

If I could give a higher rating I would! Coach Josh and Laura are awesome people and coaches. Our sons have been training here for a year and we have noticed a big change in their attitude. Especially in class with Coach Josh. Such a great environment for kids and adults. Couldn’t ask for better people/coaches for my children to look up to. Mom and dad have even joined the bjj family and we enjoy coming here everyday for training. They make you feel like family and genuinely care about everyone. Must give this place a try if you want your children to learn respect, discipline, courtesy and Brazilian jiu jitsu!
