Rarely do I care to write a poor review, as I understand it can be a difficult as a small business owner, however after some time I felt it necessary to do for Eddie’s Car Connection.nnFirstly, thank you to Eddie for picking me up at the airport, I appreciate the hospitality after flying in from Wisconsin. I had called the day before I came down, which is not an easy thing to accommodate for. As much as I like to try and spend money with small businesses and wanted to be positive in the outlook, unfortunately, my positive review ends there. I bought a 2013 Range Rover Sport which optioned how I wanted, was a hard find. Eddie had one optioned correctly that I put an offer in that was a little under $2k of the listing price. He accepted. I asked about aesthetics of the car - any major interior/exterior defects that I should know about, tires, brakes, and leaking fluids. I also asked about a tire pressure monitor sensor light on the dash which Eddie assured would be cleared up, as well as a low battery in the key, which he also claimed shouldn’t be a big deal. The normal questions upon purchasing a used vehicle were asked.nnI was overall fairly happy with the purchase initially, other than the door handles’ clear coat had completely failed and would need to be repainted. Not a huge deal, although frustrating since I had specifically asked about aesthetic defects, including clear coat failure since it was a southern car. Also, the tire pressure monitor sensor light was not fixed, and the low battery in the key that would be no big deal, was in fact a problem when I only received one key fob, with no actual metal key in it, and a glued together fob case. This means a key fob and cut key replacement is needed. Needing to drive back in one day, I had trusted Eddies word and left the dealership.nnAfter I got home and started seriously looking at things, the tires needed replacement, (I wouldn’t have drove the vehicle home and I known how dry rotted they were), the brake rotors needed replacement, and about a week after I bought it, I started to smell an oil leak, and it started leaking coolant as well. All of this on a car that is “inspected”? I’ve bought and sold enough to know that this stuff wasn’t coincidental a week after my purchase. I texted Eddie to let him know my issues asking if something could be worked out - I’m a pretty reasonable guy, after all, I guess one could argue as he did that it’s partly my fault for not inspecting the car better. Instead, I was answered with a message that had said I should’ve known what I was looking for, he had no room for making money since he accepted a below listing offer, and that he cannot control what service a car needs as it continues to be driven.. pretty pathetic response.nnI just picked up the car from my local Land Rover dealer. After their findings, it will take over $10,000 to get this vehicle to a mechanical 100%. This includes replacement of valve cover gaskets, lower timing cover gasket, thermostat housing, coolant manifold, and lower control arms, and an alignment. This is not including the dry rotted tires, and worn brake rotors. I have a hard time believing this vehicle was looked at seriously before being listed for sale, let alone an actual inspection performed. I’m now left wondering if it’s worth dumping about 40% of the value of the car into it to be able to drive it, or cut my losses and sell it.nnOverall, a poor experience here. It seemed obvious once the car was sold, Eddie no longer cared about a happy customer. Another used car dealer I cannot trust.

I love it when I find smart professional people who actually care about helping you. Eddie is just a great resource and person to work with. I purchased my car over a month ago and its been everything I expected. Eddie knows the plus/minus on so many used cars. He is personally very selective about the cars he chooses to acquire, recondition and resale from his unique independent business. Thanks Eddie!

Reliable and kind family owned business. Eddie made everything easy and made sure to get everything taken care for me. I don’t think I’ve dealt with faster and friendlier service when buying a car. Thank you all!

I purchased a 2006 bmw 525i with at least 120,000 miles over a year ago and still running like new. Eddie is an extremely fair and honest person and I would refer the President of The United States to his place of business anytime. Thank You Eddie for your honesty and GOD BLESS YOU and YOUR FAMILY. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dude0a
