One of my top ten favorite Texas State Park campgrounds! I was there in the heat of summer and man was it hot! thanks to the shade from all of the trees and the wind coming off of the lake it was not so unbearable. the swim area was quite nice and I was really impress with the boat ramp. My campsite was GREAT! lots of trees and water access not to mention the deer that walked through while I was cooking. I have videos of this park on my YouTube channel...DudeRV.com
Clean camp area with a nice boat ramp. Boat ramp even has a fish cleaning station. Bathroom facilities are clean and well kept.
Small, quiet park. We loved the campgrounds, especially our screened shelter. We had a clear path to the lake and beautiful scenery. Very clean and picturesque! We can't wait to return with the family soon!
