This is the best Taco Cabana around!nVery clean. All of the staff is super nice. Always smiling. I placed an order Through door dash and it didn’t let me order our two dozen extra flour tortillas so I called up to the store and a wonderful lady who answered the phone was able to add that to my order! She was so nice.

Not a great Friday night dinner experience.nnI ordered on-line, with a requested 6pm pickup. I think I finally left - the first time - around 6:20pm. It didn’t seem as though ordering through their own app had actually started the process at all.nnThen, to make matters worse, when I got home, I realized that they had forgotten an item. I dropped the food off with my family, and went back to pick up MY dinner.nnThe staff were polite, but they seemed to be moving in slow motion. There also didn’t seem to be enough people to handle Friday night, so perhaps they were overwhelmed.nnAt this point, while I generally enjoy Taco Cabana, I can’t recommend this location due to slow and lackadaisical service.

I'll start by saying that Taco Cabana has been part of my life since I was growing up in San Antonio and I was super excited when I heard we were getting one in Wylie. That excitement faded quickly. The refried beans are always over-cooked and have hard chunks. The guaco never seems to be fresh, its always brown, the taco shells are over fried and oily. This location just isn't good.

The food is not as good as other Taco Cabanas around town. Food seems a tad bland and not very hot usually. Not Taco Bell bland, but still not good for Mexican or Tex-Mex. Reminds me of Cal-Mex in a big way. Tasteless, textures wrong, but with lots of empty prettyness. Don't get me wrong, not all Cabanas are this bad.

Don't bother with any kind of special instructions or asking for something on the side in your online order. You'll be lucky if you're even given everything you ordered. The second and last time I was here I was too disgusted by the conditions of the kitchen (or what you can see from the drive-thru) to even eat my food.
