Went there for the very first time today. The food was average and did not have much taste. Service was average. We were there for about an hour and had to ask for the one refill that we received on our drinks. I still gave a better than average tip since the chef is working for tips as well. The hibachi chef was okay. He did not look overly excited to be there. He was in and out asap. As a matter of fact, the chef at the table next to us was cooking when we sat down and he was still entertaining his group when we left. I might have a different review if we had him. That being said, I will probably give it one more shot but if everything is the same, I won't be going back. Sad because it is 5 minutes from home but I would rather drive 30 minutes for better food and service.

This place is great. The only reason I say the food is very good and not excellent is because I was spoiled when I lived in Columbus, Georgia. The portions are fantastic but bigger there and they have more ingredients. But the Tokyo is absolutely fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and the sushi is fantastic as well.

Service was poor. My boyfriends soup had a hair in it. All we got was dry apologize. The food was mediocre. All in all the experience was far from good. I suggest Hana sushi and hibachi in garland. They always give great service and the food is delicious. And no I'm not an employee for Hana.

The sushi is excellent. They provide a wide selection of traditional and experimental rolls. I haven't been to the hibachi tables yet, but everyone sounds very pleased. The lunch boxes are great and filling

My husband and I went last weekend for our second trip to Tokyo Hayaci. Our first visit was rather average when it came to quality of food, service, atmosphere, etc. This time we came in for lunch and will not be going back again. We were not greeted at the hostess stand but rather waited for a few minutes until a line cook came out and seated us. Waited quite some time before any servers came out of the hibachi table area, then our server was rushed, rude, and overall treated us as though we were a burden. Our order was slow to come out considering we were one of two tables in the main dining room. My husband order the chicken katsu plate which was just 4oz of fried chicken with rice and the saddest salad I have ever seen. A huge rip off considering the price of the plate and the lack of flavor. I had an eel roll and shrimp&veg tempura plate, tempura was average as was the roll. Will not be back, would not recommend.
