As a former shop analyst or “secret shopper” this place would have gotten negative marks. It’s gone downhill in their products. I used to get this amazing cherry shaved ice with actual cherry in it. I went there today and paid $3 and change for what I could have gotten at 7-Eleven for less. The girls working the counter were clueless, I had to ask for a lid, spoon, napkins. I looked into where the custards were and they were out of several flavors -none which were replaced. I asked the girl if she could mix in the mango flavor in with the cherry I ordered but I think she’d been napping before I went in there. She couldn’t grasp what I was asking her to do, and finally just gave me a tasting spoon with the mango flavor...?? I also asked the girl if they still had the lemonade flavor, direct quote “No we don’t. I mean we DO- we have the stuff to make it but then we’d have to sell it.” Along with that, the floor needed cleaning/mopping, and cookies needed to baked and added to the hole-on-the-side display case. The point of having one is to keep bugs and other things out- it wasn’t doin it’s job. Never coming back again which is sad- they had amazing product! Now it’s just bottom shelf 7-Eleven cherry and Doctor pepper flavors.

I lived on the east coast for several years and we always went to Rita’s after games and things. Had no idea they had them in Texas so I was very excited when I found out. It was just as good as a remember!
