CVS Pharmacy

The vaccination people were nice, but the restrooms were disgusting! Worse than a truck stop bathroom! No TP, floor, mirror, toilet, sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Pics were taken at 10am on a Friday, don't know how often they clean this restroom (it's the only one available!) They didn't seem particularly busy so don't know why they couldn't clean it or replace the TP at least ..

Y’all don’t waste your time coming here for a vaccination. What’s the point of having an appointment time when you’re just gonna wait in line like it’s a walk in? THEY ARE VERY SLOW, SAVE YOURSELF AND GO ELSEWHERE.

I have insurance and I am at the point with my insurance (4/2021) where I only pay 10% of my prescriptions and I’m close to zero out of pocket! But when I go to pick up my prescriptions I’m told it’s $300. So that means my 90 day supply (which is required by my insurance company) is charging me $3,000 for a 90 day supply of what normally costs me $1000 - $1200 when I haven’t met my deductible. This happens repeatedly through out the year! And then the clerk said I had to have my Caremark card which hasn’t been used in over 10 years. We gave her our insurance card and she wouldn’t take it and said she had to have our Caremark card. If the Caremark card is required, why hasn’t the pharmacy asked for the card until now (lived here for 7 years). Haven’t been given an updated Caremark card by our insurance carrier either. Has my old information on the card from 10 years ago! Can’t believe we even still have the card after 10 years. It’s paper, not even plastic or laminated but she wouldn’t give us our meds at insurance price without our Caremark card. Calling insurance company to complain about CVS and how difficult they are to work with and their incompetence! We need other choices other than CVS!!! They change two of my meds from brand name to generic a couple times a year. I can’t take the generic of these two drugs and I’ve askednrepeatedly for them to make a note somewhere that I can only take the brand name of those particular drugs!! . Then I get a message to see if I would like to switch to a different drug to save me $114 per year. First I can’t write my own prescriptions and change them myself, secondly I’ve tried almost every drug available and the ones I am taking work for me! So just fill my meds correctly and stop changing the rules required!

I don’t usually write bad reviews because I always give the person or place the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they’re having a bad day, maybe they don’t feel good.. I don’t know. But this place is ALWAYS AND CONSISTENTLY RUDE AND SLOW. My order is always wrong. Every tech seems like they hate their job and people in general. Do yourself a favor, go to the CVS inside target store or down the street on Wylie to get a MUCH better experience.

First time at this store and will DEFINITELY be back. All the workers were so friendly and helpful. They told me about there rewards program which got me $10 off my purchase!!! Apparently years ago I had an account, and to help serve other customers who were waiting, while helping me ... the manager came up and brought me to another register to get my account figured out so I got the discount!!! Well done guys!!! Let's give some love to all the people keeping us supplied with medical necessities!!! Thanks guys!!!
