Had a good experience at The Transmission Shop in McKinney. I brought my 2010 Mustang GT in for a transmission rebuild, new clutch installation, and differential flush. You may need to plan to be without your car for some time, these guys are busy (YMMV). I was without my car for 2 weeks - I didn't expect that. All else was fine.nnAndrew was professional and communicative at all times and I didn't get the impression I was being sold things I didn't need. I got the sense of honesty from Andrew, and in my opinion that's critical. I definitely recommend this shop.

When I called and explained what was going on, or what happened, with my truck, they knew exactly where to start. They got my company truck in and out in about 24hrs, and got me back on the road to work.nnGreat experience, and will definitely recommend to others in the area.nThanks guys for helping me get The Grounds Guys of McKinney back to work so quick

So I actually bought my 2008 Jeep to The Transmission shop almost a year ago to have the clutch replaced. They were very professional and were completely up front on the cost. I actually had another Clutch issue on another Jeep and took it to another shop that charged more than double what Transmission Shop did. I am writing my review now because I have had NO issues with my Clutch, and that means a lot. Thanks Andrew and team

I truly appreciate Andrew and the guys at The Transmission Shop! They took extra time to diagnose what was wrong and build a plan. Unfortunately, I needed a full rebuild but the price was easily half of what the dealer would charge me. Well done!
