The worst city to obtain any kind of permit. It’s almost as as if they don’t want residents to do any kind of Home improvements. They ask for ton of documents and then ask for for more and it’ll take one week To review the permit each time. At the end they usually come up with more requirements and God for bid if there is a holiday in between. They stop showing up a week earlier and review the plan a week later.
I have worked alot with this office pulling permits for roof replacements since the 2014 storm. In 2014 you pulled the permits in person and the staff was always so nice and helpful. Now that everything is done online they have continued to be so helpful online helping me navigate through the online process. I deal with all the cities in the metroplex and this is definitely one of my favorites always so helpful!
