Slow workers and the clerk counter. Talk to you with terrible attitude. I am trying to pay my ticket she says you have to come in and pay to keep it off your record, I say so you are open since the COVID-19 is going on she said no. I said so how do I pay she said drop off a check we aren’t there I’m just trying to pay the ticket she can take it over the phone. Or unlock it on the online.
As a lawyer that defends cases in Murphy Municipal Court, I have always found the staff to be very helpful in lifting warrants quickly and obtaining court dates in a reasonable amount of time. First of all, I would like to say the overall service is good and the staff are as pleasant as they can be; it's near-impossible to be happy about any form of ticket. My major compliant however is the fact that Murphy seems to have a lackluster sense of urgency when it comes to helping with fines, tickets, and payments. Of course, this could just be me, but it's hard to say when this has been my only experience so far. Overall, I would say that if you have issues with some ticket or whatnot, don't expect a fast recovery, in fact expect it to be a rather sluggish resolve.nnEdit: It would appear the given URLs to complete the driver safety course are defunct and do not work. I have typed it in exactly as it appears, and it has always given me error 404; I suspect either they use an outdated link or it has gone down recently. This is ridiculous and unforgivable by any means.
When you turn off the road, just follow the drive way through all the way to the courthouse. Friendly staff and quick assistance.
