Live people don't answer the phone or return messages. If you call the general inquiries line for help, they refer you to the same number no one answers or returns messages from. Basically, if you have a question that is not answered on their website, you have no one to help you. Typical government efficiency. UPDATE: Was able to reach a different person at the general inquiries line who transferred me to other live people who helped me answer my questions. I'm changing the rating from 1 star to 4 for the sake of these helpful, knowledgeable workers. I would give 5 stars if the system was easier to navigate to start with.

Guilty until proven innocent. Ask questions and they get mad at you. They just want your money. Don't ask questions. Pay and leave.nnThere is no separation of power. Cop, clerk, prosecutor, judge all on one team against the terrible criminal charged with driving 80 in a 70 on 121 toll road. Big Crime.

Used to be the best job I ever had until the new CFO (Eric Cannon) stepped in. Young guy, huge ego, and trying to make it in the big boy world by bullying the staff. Unfortunately the Upper Management chooses to believe his words are true, and the10+ employees that have been with this city alot longer than he has, are just making things up. When making complaints to City Managers Office.I wouldn't advise taking a job with the Municipal Court or Finance Department, if you given the opportunity. There is no job security. You will be miserable, and chances are you will be shoved out the door if CFO were to choose he just doesn't like you anymore.

We have represented our fair share of people with warrants and tickets in Allen Municipal Court over the years. I have always found the court to respond quickly when our clients have warrants that need to be lifted. The court staff is also very fair when it comes to working out deals with us once we set a case for pretrial hearing. No one here knows what the hell they’re doing. I got a subpoena to testify in a case, take off work and find babysitters and keep one kid out of school. The prosecutor talks with me about a full case and keeps me there for an hour and then abruptly comes in and says “oops sorry wrong case, your case settled out of court yesterday”. So you can’t call people that you’ve legally subpoenaed to tell them the case is closed before they rearrange their whole lives? And you don’t check before sharing privilege case information with someone?nnThis court is ran by a bunch of sloppy people who don’t know which way is up.
