Fantastic place to be. I just wish that they were doing boat rentals while I was here.nIt is what it is though I guess. . .nGreat place to fish or to learn how to fish. I remember many nights fishing here as a child and the paddle boats; we would take those all around the lake and have our little adventures out to the island.

This is the most amazing state park for viewing fall foliage in Texas... The most beautiful nature views I have ever come across in the state... Oh my gosh! How I wish that time stopped at this park...

Looks like a great place still to hook a fish at. It has been ages though since I fished here.nA bit disappointed to see that the canoe rentals are not happening currently whether it's from this silly covid or because we are now inside the period of winter. I would have enjoyed being out on the lake either way but maybe it's just a good reason for me to make it back here.
