I understand about Covid precautions, but not allowing a spouse to go in with their loved one is detrimental to care since the spouse is oftentimes also the caretaker of their loved. As a husband, I see and witness the medical difficulties which my wife is experiencing; therefore, it would be in my wife’s best interest for her husband to be able to listen to the doctor about recommendations for care and for me to be able to give my input. I don’t understand this policy since my wife’s other doctor allows me to accompany her into her visits. In addition, I’m a teacher, and if my school can take the temperatures and have a Covid questionnaire....well...
