Very disappointing ...During the winter storm we have been 3 days off & on without power. We are happy the power comes on here & there and understand that some people go 6 to 8 hours without power, Or have none at all. As the weather channel said the system has failed us. Y’all knew the storm was coming well in advance. Stop failing your clients!
The online bill pay was interrupted for 3 months due to a breach. Otherwise, things have been smooth. Paying over the phone is a bit inconvenient at times but it goes.through nonetheless.nnWent once to pay bill in-person. Ample parking spots were available. The staff is helpful and everything went swift.
I set the utilities to be turned on 12/1/2020 since we are moving in and they haven’t yet turned them on and it’s 10:45pm. Customer service said they will be turned on “sometime today before midnight.” It’s currently 46 degrees outside and we have no lights or heat. I also have two children under the age of 2 who are cold and upset. Great way to start out new customers. Wow.
They failed to notify me of incoming bills which led to one total charge of almost $420!! They then told me to just pay a portion of that to keep my power, which I did, and told me to pay the rest in about to weeks when I have the funds. I'm a host at Texas Roadhouse, and I couldn't work for 10 days because I tested positive for covid so I already didn't have enough to pay the whole bill. They then cut my power off about 3 days after I payed what they told me to!
i really don't know why the reviews are so negative. i've worked with college station utilities for over 4 years now, over various residences, and every time i've had an issue, they've been more than helpful, respectful, and professional. kindness goes a long way, y'all
