This is not a review of the Olmos police, rather a review of the courthouse processing. The entire process was respectful, fast, and I was only asked to pay $20 for my expired registration. (Instead of the $100-$150 fine)

They gave me a citation for parking from 2-5am, after registering my car the previous 2 nights. The reason I didn’t register my car that particular night is that my friend who I was staying with illegally got arrested that night (they had to issue a public apology from the chief of police), and i didn’t know which police station to call in. She didn’t come home until he next day, after I had already received the ticket. I’m from Houston and leaving to backpack Europe for 3 months in a week. I kept calling the court...no answer multiple days in a row. I finally got someone to answer, I explained the situation and they still told me tough luck and to drive to San Antonio even though I had already bought my plane ticket to Europe. They failed to mention that I could mail in a check. After talking to someone else I finally got that info out of them. What idiots! This is the most poorly run police department I’ve ever seen. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with these people on a regular basis. Abuse of power

A joke.

My daughter was pulled over and her civil rights were violated along with being charged with drugs that were in a bottle prescribed. They belong to my other daughter who has the prescription and were in my car that my other daughter was stopped for. They literally shackled here and searched without reason due to rolling a stop sign! Where are the advocates against these SO CALLED COPS! Why isn't anyone doing anything about them! Someone needs to get the outside to investigate like TEXAS RANGERS! We must all come together and get these law breaking clowns SHUT DOWN!
