Ugh! Drove all the way over here and you can't even go inside now. Called the number and it took me over thirty minutes to get to a person... Automated service was horrible. Way to not help people who are in already difficult situations.

You can go to the Department of Motor Vehicles with an appointment but not the Texas Attorney General to take care of serious child support matters, and you can go in person to buy groceries for your family, but if you haven't been paid child support (so that you can buy those groceries) there's no in-person option to get help and the 800 number has never been helpful, even before COVID

I have never had a problem here. It's confusing the first time but when you read the very clear signs up on the window inside the building, its self explanatory. Fill out the paperwork on the clipboard and have all information pertaining to your case with you. Check their website to see what you need to bring and that's it!

I know it’s rare to be a single father with custody / receiving child support from the mother instead of the typical vice versa, but every time I call and speak with a female child support officer to ask a question etc they always speak to me with an attitude and are condescending. Today one told me in the most obviously rude tone to have a “woooooooooonderful” rest of my day. It’s really sad y’all female child support officers have no respect for a father doing the right thing. Retraining on customer service is definitely needed!

Going there I felt like I was going to talk to deaf ears as is usual with government offices. Was I in for a surprise! The intake worker could see my frustration as i explained all the different paths though law enforcement and government offices with a set of paperwork that is vital to my child support case among other things. Finally in desperation i asked if i just outright refuse to pay, would they finally take some action to get my paperwork introduced into evidence. She explained there was an alternate method (request to adjust) based on the paperwork I have been trying to introduce for months! She scanned, copied, and emailed their attorneys for action! God love her! Thank you ma'am!!!
