Went to Parman library to do my civic duty and vote early. Was pleasantly surprised at the parking, access, and ease of conducting that business. The library itself looked incredible, although outside of the area set aside for voting, I saw very little.
Despite current COVID restrictions, the super friendly staff make borrowing books an easy and pleasant experience. Lots of outside play space for the kids.
The kids love the playground and special activities like tonight's Spooky Walk. Such a big part of the community!
You cannot go into the library, but you can window browse and select your books that way. Librarians were very helpful.
This is probably my favorite library in San Antonio. It is a very modern building. It is very clean, and the staff has kept up with it very well. The selection of books is pretty good, better than most of the other branches. The online ordering for books is very fast and convenient. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They have a rather large kids’ section as well. I will more than likely continue to frequent this location.
