Shawn has been the most amazing medical provider for my family and me for many years. We almost lost my mom to a heart surgery gone wrong 2 1/2 yrs ago and Shawn came to the ICU, the hospitals and the rehabs on her own accord to see my mom. I will never forget when she walked in to see my mom. My mom had a ventilator down her throat but was starting to gain consciousness and saw Shawn and I remember her trying to smile and saying “oh hi Shawn!!” ud83eudd70 Shawn’s reply was “no one is supposed to look this beautiful in ICU!l” we all started crying sad/happy tears. Mom is alive and well now, thank God. Shawn has always gone ABOVE and way beyond for all of us and I am forever grateful for her. She’s absolutely amazing and I recommend her to EVERYONE of ALL ages!! She is the most DOWN to earth, easy to talk to person I’ve ever known when it comes to medical stuff. You can tell her ANYTHING. ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING. She doesn’t judge and she won’t flinch. She will climb mountains and swim all the streams for you and your family. She is absolute family to me now. As I have transitioned into a caretaker for both of my parents I couldn’t be more grateful than to have Shawn in MINE and in my parents lives. We all feel like we’re so at home with her. She is just like the friend next door that knows how to make you better. ud83dude0a

I've never dealt with a doctor's office that is not only rude, but so incredibly unwilling to help (I mean it's their job to help people at the end of the day right)? They're also horrible at diagnosing the real problem and, if you decide to get a second opinion elsewhere, they basically decide to cut you off and really not help you with anything. You can call their office time and time again, trying to get information or ask questions/express concern, and simply learn to expect that they probably won't call you back. On the off chance that you are able to catch someone live, expect them to be short, rude and acting as if you are an inconvenience to them/not worth their time. As it turns out, their unwillingness to properly diagnose my now known issue (because I went elsewhere) has cost me HUNDREDS of unnecessary dollars spent, not to mention all the lost/wasted time and the chronic pain I've been dealing with day in and day out for months. I'm not one to complain...I don't like to ruffle feathers, but when it comes to people's health, I have no choice but to speak up when I see blatant negligence and wrong doing.

As a new patient in the midst of COVID-19, this clinic was able to get me in within a week's time. I was assigned to Dr. Williams, and she is fantastic. She helped me get a correct diagnosis on bloodwork that my previous PCP all but ignored. It's really nice to finally have a doctor I can trust!nThe clinic has their own lab so you can get everything done on the spot. I am self-employed so I pay out of pocket, and large bills are a concern. Having expressed this to Dr. Williams, she was able to write me an Rx to an affordable pharmacy, as well as point me in the direction of a possible insurance solution. The office visits themselves are still more affordable than any other clinic I have been to, and they have an array of vitamins and supplements you can purchase for a cheaper price than online if you are in need.nYou will have to sign a consent form for random drug screenings. This is to prevent patients from abusing controlled substances. If that bothers you than that might be a deterrent.nMy personal experience was extremely positive. The entire staff is friendly and the clinic is warm and inviting. It smells nice! I would recommend Deerwood to anyone.

My family really loves going to see Shawn! She has helped my whole family for so many years. My moms brought me to see her since I was little and she always put numbing cream on me before she drew blood so I haven’t been afraid of needles. She’s really cool and easy to talk to. I really am happy about my whole family being able to go to the same place, even my baby brother and my grandparents. That’s kinda rare. Lol. Shawn’s office is really nice to go to and it makes us all feel safe especially with Covid going on.

We have been patients of PAs Shawn Mollica and Karen Williams for over a decade, my kids, my husband and I; now my sister and brother as well as family from out of town come to Deerwood Family practice, and many local friends have made the switch as well. Shawn has been able to keep my husband’s multiple conditions under control, and for me, with several autoimmune conditions she is always on top of new treatments, including supplements that have made my quality of life much better. I feel very confident with her knowledge and her staff. Through the years I have been under the care of many different specialists, and I can say, Shawn is better then all of them together.
