Everyone there is on the level, caring and real. The minister tells it like he sees it, not how you want to see it and so far I think he is on point. He is humble, not assuming he is right and always willing to hear your ideas, as long as they are based on scripture. I haven't always agreed with him but his view may solve several questions I have had on the scriptures for years.

I will never recommend this church. I was married in this church by Preacher Don Walker.....and when Preacher Gabriel came to preach I went to.him with some very private concerns in my marriage. His wife was in the next room. I found myself shocked and livid when the next day the entire congregation including my in laws knew of our marital issues. This is definitely not the place to worship anymore. RIP Don Walker.

What I heard was very much from the Bible how it should be. Many, many members of this smaller church I visited made me feel most welcome. Very loving people, beautiful singing. If ever I moved to San Antonio, Shenandoah C of C would definitely be on my list of ones to consider joining. I thank God I was able to attend there, meet them, and hear that sermon!
