My 10 year old walked out of store with two bags full smiling from ear to ear.nud83dude04ud83dude04ud83dude04

Beautiful book store. It's 2 stories. So big, clean and has a very LARGE selection. The bathrooms are also very nice, which is important, since other BN that I've been to aren't great. There is an escalator and and elevator to get up and down the second story. It is very quite and bright inside, from the sunlight and regular lights. There is an sitting area for coffee, snacks and a place to do college or work. The kids section for books is so large and amazing. I love the Harry Potter section that they have. This is my favorite place to come for books.

Where do I start? Is it the smell of the fresh brewed coffee or the gentle noise of people talking softly as the thumb through a book? I don't know, but I do know that I am a lover of books, real books and how they feel and smell as they are opened for the first time. For me, the most magical time in a book store is in the dead of winter on a miserable, drewery, rainy day as I find solace in it's warmth as I sit and read, drinking my hot coffee. The End

I just love this location. It seems like a great place to wonder around indoor and enjoy a treat or two.

On a vacation trip to San Antonio (3/26/21) stopped in because our kids like getting new books. My wife and youngest son (12) walked to the customer service desk to ask about a specific series. As they walked up, the attendant walked past them to speak with another employee. When my wife asked them to point out where the books were (after waiting a few minutes) they just kept talking and totally ignored her. So, she thanked them for their “help” and we looked around ourselves for a bit, then left empty handed and disappointed.nnThis plus a very abrupt interaction I had with a different employee about their broken escalator, showed this store is full of Very Rude attendants, with “0” customer service skills.nnNot what we usually find at Barnes and Noble...
