I challenge you to go there and try and wrap your mind around it. If it's not the books, it's the antiquated collection of books, if it's not the paintings, it's the beautiful chapel of stained glass and the stations of the Cross. Everything about this establishment is magical and you could spend days there and never fully understand it. At first I thought the owner was an immortal who has been collecting things for centuries but he turned out to be a very knowlegeable and pleasant soul. Ask specifics of him, it is worth it. If you are to ask him a general question of who owns it,, how he came by it all,, etc.. you will realize he would prefer you go to Google. Ask him about tin type photos of John Wesley Hardin and Wild Bill Hickock enlarged into epic pieces of art and you will get a schooling. I could go on but I assure you, your experience will be unique to you...

Lots of variety. The owner is knowledgeable about the antiques. This is the place if you are looking for a unique gift

Great little nook for all sorts of unique antiques and a variety of books, old and new. Plenty of seasonal items and yard decor, as well. The painting of Mrs. Fletcher, after whom the shop is named (and who actually passed away in her 90s while tending the cash register) is featured prominently and gives it a homey vibe.

Lovely eclectric books and antiques next to St. Joseph's Episcopal church in Salado, Texas. Love the stacks and surprises there.

Great atmosphere and friendly owner who is eager to help find anything you are looking for. Could spend many hours in this shop.
