This was the most rewarding experience of my life. Every person in the city of Salado told us how kind and wonderful this clay building genius he is. We had to meet him. He’s famous as well being on TV, multiple magazines, and Daytrippers just recently. He truly enjoys what he does and even though we paid for an hour, he kept us learning and experimenting with building bowls and cups for a couple hours. He was in no hurry to get us out. He just wanted us to learn, use our own ideas too, and he kept us very intertwined the entire time. He is truly a magnificent guy. Don’t leave Salado without stopping by to take a class or just say hi.

Beautiful hand crafted pottery. There’s not much Mr. Shaw can’t do ! Very talented and could not be a nicer guy. My stepson has gone up there for hands on demonstrations and absolutely loved it.

Ro is a very knowledgeable and talented guy, everything in his shop is handmade. I had fun visiting his charming and historic building to see some of the best pottery around.
