Appeared it wasn't opened because all the visible doors were taped up. I turned around to walk to my car when an employee stuck his head out of the last door on the right side which i didn't see when I walked up. He apologized and stated a lot of people thought the library was closed. My experience after that was great. All employees were so helpful ud83dude42
I'm like a kid in a candy store in here. It's wonderland. Be sure to check out the little book store in the entrance of the library. You can find greatness there.
Covid is the best thing to happen for all libraries. The reason is because not very many people are there, lingering around..those days are gone for now. It is now very quiet (like they used to be years ago) and you can pretty much find almost.all current books because people are afraid to get covid from the books. Please. I.check books out every week and have for years and I am fine. And I am reading current books,.which helps my.wallet.
Central Library is a safe place for me, to sit down in the peace and quiet and study God's Word. Someone always kindly assesses my well-being as I enter, with a temperature check and a few questions to insure that I'm symptom-free of COVID-19. Each and every visit to this location has been a pleasant one to say the least.
Employees were very helpful and it was very easy to use their computers and printers. Best library in Memphis!
