Museum is closed. Open only Memorial Day to Labor Day on weekends. Very interesting out door river history

This place was so fun! We were the only people in there on a Saturday morning. The grounds are beautiful and the Mississippi replica river Park is SO CHARMING and we'll kept. Fun for kids and adults and also a few dogs we saw. Check it out!

Absolutely fantastic, kid or no kid. However, with a kid it was extra special experience. Walking the scale size river from headwaters to gulf was great, and the water fun at the gulf end was great on a hot day. Good educational e patience from start to finish. Interesting way to pay for parking. Never seen it before. Perhaps the future?

This is a really cool museum that has an awesome scale replica of the Mississippi River that you can walk through and read about. Great for kids too since it’s basically a giant water feature with cool information. Add in the fact that it’s right on the Mississippi and you get some scenic views.
