Petco

I went to this Petco to get my dog groomed. It took about 4 hours even though they initially indicated that it wouldn't take very long. Originally, they told me it wouldn't be a long wait so I took some time to look around the store. It was neat and clean, although somewhat small. The animals were in good care and they did a good job grooming my pet. It was affordable.

Been wanting a tank for a while. Super happy. Collierville location had EVERYTHING I needed in one stop shopping!

Very good store! I go for reptiles, dogs, and a cat. They usually have everything. The only time I've noticed no feeders (worms or roaches for lizards to eat) is when there is a known shortage in the US (which affects competition as well.) There are always decent toys in the clearance bin and so I regularly get to make sure my dogs are never bored and start chewing on what they weren't supposed to. I originally had 4 stars up here, but after actually writing it down, I can't think of much that's actually done wrong! Sometimes the attitude or vibe of the store seems a little off, but I don't think anyone working there is actually letting that happen. Usually just workers needing to work, which I understand! Normal people who have actually worked a job like this all do. And no, I don't mean they don't greet me, I always am welcomed the second I walk in. I happen to know that everyone working there gets a good shift duration and is trained well at what they do. So even behind the scenes I am happy with this store. Not all petcos are this good, I am DEFINITELY glad that this is the one I live closest to. Even the one in Olive Branch which I am also close to, seems to have very strange management and workers (that's not this location, I won't get into it lol) so it seems to me that the people running this store have an actual motivation to do well and treat others well. Good morale like what I see in this store doesn't happen unless there are happy workers which reflect good management. Kudos all around. Every new employee I meet is very very kind and I get the inside scoop on products with some, such as what day the worms I mentioned are shipped. If you have lizards, that is VITAL lol!!nnTL;DR (too long; didn't read) -- this store seems to be doing good from the inside out and I am glad to shop there.
