Just 2 miles, but it's STRAIGHT up. Travel light with layers and water and your camera. Great views of all of Provo and the lake and surrounding communities. Take your time and wear supportive shoes.
This is a great hike. Recommended to do this one in the shade. During the summer. This trail goes past the letter Y and onto the summit of Y mountain
Wy wife and I hike this trail 3 times per week. It's a n excellent workout without a huge investment of time. The view is a huge bonus.
For only being 1.1 miles, it was a challenging outing for my wife and I. Perhaps we should have done it thirty years ago when we were students instead of as grandparents! The view was worth the effort. We would recommend it doing the hike in the morning so you are in the shade.
Always awesome. Even better early in the morning or late at night. Keep going to the summit if you want to mix it up a little.
