The museum was decent with some blues history. I loved the fact that they moved her childhood school house here to view her artifacs.

I am not really big on reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to talk about these folks. When I first came to Brownsville, the folks here welcomed me into their community. The center is clean and has some really interesting exhibits. They took the time to share their knowledge with me, and I really appreciated warmth and friendliness they showed to a newcomer.

This place is so interesting! A lot of time and care went in to making these museums clean, fun, and informative! The staff are so kind and helpful, as well.

Mary and Will welcomed me like family:) I spent 2 hours touring the 2 buildings outside and 3 rooms inside. Nice detailed displays of aquariums, music history, Tina Turner schoolhouse & life, local history and the cotton industry; among others. Also has gift shop. An extensive collection of tourist/travel pamphlets for TN and surrounding states. Please visit this little gem if you're in west Tenn:)
