Big Creek Expeditions

We rafted the upper river with our family of four including our sons (ages 9 and 12). It was our first time and we had a wonderful experience. Our guide was Chris who was great! The new location is outstanding and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids can’t wait to do it again! Absolutely great company and well worth the money. Beautiful view and lots of fun for everyone.

A marvelous experience to be had on whitewater rapids. Great place. Great people. Great whitewater fun. This place also has great camping right on the river in a nice shady, natural campground in the woods.

Shane C. was the man! Having had no previous rafting or open water experience, I was a little apprehensive to take on the challenge. Shane C. made it a breeze; Clean humor, professionalism, and skilled enough to make our ride feel like we were coasting in a Caddy. I look forward to returning.

Huey was a wonderful guide.

Huey was an excellent fit for our laid-back and casual rafting adventure which we would love to do again and hope we get Huey again!nnWe had some newbies on our trip and we had some seasoned veterans of white water. The newbies enjoyed the thrill of going down the upper and going through some 3's and 4's (fearless of course!) and the veterans enjoyed the conversation, the nostalgia of some of our first 3's and 4's years ago, and the beautiful views of the river and the other adventurers enjoying it.nnWe even had a chance to jump in the river voluntarily and swim around a bit, glad of Huey's experience and muscle getting some of us fluffier folks back in the raft. My daughter liked that part the most!nnReally enjoyed our trip down the river. Any newbies wanting a nice ride down the upper Pigeon should definitely look this place up! Huey took great care of us.nnP.S. Huey, we were the party of 8 on the big sky blue raft for the 12:30 on Saturday September 5. And yes, we went to bootleggers. Amazing Jalepeno!
