The worst place ever! I was given a virtual visit and was prescribed something for my migraines that gave me bad side effects. I called back and was able to speak with a nurse who said she'd relay the message to my doctor. It's been over 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from anybody. I began to call back and nobody answers the phone. I ended up going there greeted with bad attitudes from the staff. The waiting room was completely empty. How are they so busy with nobody in the waiting room? I told the lady at the desk who my doctor was she told me that nobody by that name works there. She said give me your information so I can lead you to the right place. A nurse came in and said the doctor does work there. I was flat out told she won't be seeing me. She gives me an appointment reminder for May! I'm like really? These people are terrible with a capital T. It took me 4 months to get an actual appointment after my referral. Now an additional 4 months to see my doctor again to request new medication. I'm beyond dissatisfied! If you can go elsewhere do so because these people are unreliable.

I saw Dr. Pokharna and I have never felt so ignored, not listened to, and judged by a doctor so much. If I could give negative stars I would. I was not able to explain my whole situation and all the things I have been experiencing, the doctor was on her phone the whole time recording what she thought the situation was but did not even record what I was saying correctly so a lot of incorrect information was recorded. The doctor rushed me through the whole appointment and I did not even get to explain half of the issue so I will never be returning again. If I had a question she referred me to this book she gave me instead of actually answering my question. I am very concerned for what I am experiencing and would have loved some answers but I got absolutely nothing from that appointment except three medications that will not even help my condition since she did not listen to me at all. I am a nursing student at Prisma right now so I have worked with other amazing doctors there but Dr. Pokharna should not be a neurologist and definitely should not be working for Prisma Health.

These people will schedule you an appointment. When they call to confirm give you a time and you repeat that time to make sure it is correct. When we get here it takes forever to get checked in. I get upstairs with my daughter and then they tell me my daughter's appointment was at 9:20 when they told me 9:40. We live an hour and 45 minutes away. Then they wanna tell me we gonna have to reschedule. Mind you we were given the wrong appointment time plus it took forever to get checked in. So for things that are not my fault they refused to see my child, who just had 3 seizures this past Friday. Needless to say I think we will be finding a new doctor. Not to mention they are a bit on the rude side as well.

I’d give it a zero if I could. Never got to see a doctor. Despite them having my referral from tricare for over two months they kept telling me they hadn’t processed it yet so they couldn’t make an appt for me. Then the last person (after 2 months of calling) finally told me they hadn’t received my chart faxed over from my primary physician and since they get over 200 referrals a week, they don’t even bother to process those without copies of chart. The tricare referral states why you were sent, they can make you an appt and tell you you need to have the stuffed faxed. Since they get so many referrals I figured they didn’t need my business so I asked to get my referral changed. Good thing I haven’t had an emergency situation.

I recently had an encounter, the nurse I spoke with handled me like I was a dummy, literally! She lied saying I didn’t speak with her when I did both days. My info nor message was never put in. And the doc actually called herself threatening me and taking up for her nurse.! Do not go to this place for neurology care very rude and unprofessional. Obviously they think I don’t have insurance!
