I was given a next day emergency appt because piece of my filling came out and I was experiencing some pain. I was promptly seen and given my options. Well it turns out that things were a little worse than they seemed. The dentist continued to work trying to clear out all the decay. We ended up with a referral for a possible root canal but only if necessary. The dentist and staff were very pleasant to work with and I will be completing my crown and follow-up dental plan with them. I am looking forward to a prettier healthier smile!

Absolutely the BEST dental practice in Columbia . Even the subs are top notched. I’m in my 70 and been to quite a few dentists, hands down, this is most personable, friendly and professional dental practice!

Always super friendly. Thorough cleaning and still a very enjoyable experience. Fast too. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Fantastic.

For many years, over 10 actually, I had been going to the family dentist we had chosen. At the time, our network for insurance covered his services. I had no complaints and was hesitant to change but after acquiring new insurance I had no choice because he wasn’t in the network for the new insurance. After looking around for a new dentist, I asked a family friend who had been a dental hygienist for over 30 years who she would pick on my authorized provider list. When she saw Dr. Johnson’s name, she stopped looking at the list which had over a 100 dentists in my area and said this is the dentist you want. She assured me that he was, hands down, the very best choice. I also have a 10 year old who has a legitimate fear of the dentist due to a very invasive procedure my son had done early in his life. Having no complaints with my prior dentist, I wondered just how much better another dentist could possibly be.nMy initial visit went fantastic and he identified several areas which had been over looked in the past and addressed them right away. The true test however was how my son was going to do because of his phobia of going to the dentist. He put my son at ease and his visit also went great. My son doesn’t even mind going to his visits anymore which is a huge feat I didn’t think it was even possible. The team there does a wonderful job in every way. They are very very courteous and considerate of your needs genuinely seem to care. It took me actually experiencing just how much a better a dentist and his team can be before I could fully appreciate it. I could not be any more pleased with the services we received. As a matter of fact, if my insurance was to change again and I had to find another dental clinic, I would seriously contemplate staying with him and just paying the extra out of pocket. I don’t even mind going there at all and have actually chosen to get additional services through them because of their high degree of professionalism. I’d put this dental clinic in the top 1% of dental offices within 100 miles. I feel lucky and blessed that I was able to find them and establish a relationship that I can look forward to for many many years. I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have this office take care of you and your family’s dental needs. With out any doubt, they are the best dental clinic I have ever had the opportunity to visit. They set the bar very very high and I don’t think I will ever need to find another dentist as long as they near me. I’d give them 6 or 7 stars if it allowed me but I can only give 5. In my opinion, the best dental experiences I have ever had. And having a 10 year old that was petrified of the dentist that now looks forward to going... that is huge and not easily earned. I could not be more pleased!

I’ve been going to Spring Valley Dental Associates since 1986. The office is clean and inviting. The staff are professional and caring. The whole team there takes such good care of their patients.
