All the librarians and the Blythewood location are very nice and helpful. With the pandemic happening, they have recently reopened with curbside pickup, and a small selection outside of the main doors.

I introduced my preschooler to the library, and got him his first card, (and my first since college) and we couldn't be happier with the services here! As a military family that is always relocating, it is great for my son to have access to all the books without accumulating the clutter. I love the option of ebooks and borrowing movies through the hoopla app. The staff is so helpful and nice. My son loves the play area and happily plays while I pick out his weekly bedtime stories.

Love the staff!! I volunteered here for years and the Blythewood Library is definitely a family. They develop great relationships with regular patrons and are always excited to help with anything someone needs. It's a small library, but offers a wide range of resources and a great selection of programs. The newly renovated space looks great so far and will definitely allow the library to do even more for the community. If you ever need anything, be sure to stop by. If they don't have the answer, they can point you in the right direction or help you find the answer themselves.

Rating this public library a solid 3 stars. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. However there is that one staff that just took down the other two stars for this place. I forgot to look at the staff’s name but she’s much younger and speaks with an attitude. For one, I walked with my one year old in one arm along with my coffee and two books. Without even greeting me, she tells me “You’re allowed in here but not that cup in your hand.” Well good morning to you too lady. Without even letting me finish my question to the other staff, she proceeds to tell me the cap has to be screwed on not popped on. Other than this ungrateful experience, the place is nice and clean.
