I went to the ER on 1/4/2021. I understand the wait due to COVID19 so that's not my issue. I was admitted to the ER and placed on a stretcher for 48 hours. My diagnosis was DKA. Its a diabetic condition. Over the 48 hours I was in the room I was almost continuously cover in trash and blood. I had bloody blankets. IV starter kit pieces in the bed. IV Starter kit pieces all over the floor. I even remember one nurse commenting on how Night Shift left the room so bad and then proceeded to continue with the mess. My condition requires for my blood sugars to stabilize before I am NORMALLY released. My levels came down in range once and almost immediately started climbing again. I was then discharged to fend for myself. I was almost happy to go get cleaned up. I will bleed out before I spend another minute in this hospital. The last time I went to Laurens for the same exact problem I was discharged 3(2 day longest stay, 2 overnighters) times before going to Greenville and being admitted for 5 days. I'm not sure what is the issue but I am certain its management not individuals I did have some really nice nurses/DR.s. I never write google reviews but this is the second or third time this hospital has literally tried to kill me!!!! If my condition worsens from the point I'm at in the ER it could mean DEATH. In my opinion unless you need two stitches or a band aid stay away,

I had my first baby (son) here a couple days ago and everyone I knew friends/distant relatives had bad things to say so I was very worried. But let me tell you I had Dr. Abel-bey, RNs Julie and Megan to coach me through pushing him out while thinking I was going to die and they were awesome. The kitchen had awesome meals throughout my stay including a “steak dinner” for first time parents (which was amazing). The ward was small and family orientated so I felt like we were being spoiled being 1 of 3 babies on the whole floor. The Drs. that gave me my epidural were so supportive as well. Everyone I had that day was epic. Highly recommend for delivery. ud83dudc99

I was seen on a Sunday around midnight and was in extreme pain. I was given 1 pain pill at midnight and a prescription for more. the pain pill's effect would only last until 4 am then I went to get the prescription filled and was told that it was signed by a nurse and had no doctor's signature so it couldn't be filled. I can't believe that the hospital didn't know that. went to 2 more pharmacies with the same result. now I refused to pay the final 50 out of $300 dollars and they are ruining my credit. Drive to Greenville or Columbia if you want a prescription

My mother in law had a pulmonary embolism and couldn’t walk or breathe and she had to sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes before getting help. Nurse was EXTREMELY RUDE. Doctor was rude. Would not recommend this backwoods barnyard hospital. Go somewhere else. Only came here because it was the closest hospital on our drive home. Not even worth 1 star.

My Granddaughter was born here. First off the Doctor delivering the baby was a clown. Then she had a problem breathing and was turning blue even I could see that. After they stood around talking they finally took her back. Now we have found out they never performed a PKU test on her and she is having delqu issue's at 18months old. A complete and total circus. Save a life go somewhere else.
