Dr.Patterson and his staff are great. Myself and my family goes there and have been very satisfied. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone!

Dr. Patterson is a really nice guy and a very competent dentist. He is exceptionally professional and astute, but he is also a goofy goober. I mean that in the nicest way possible.nnHis skills and expertise as a dentist places him in the top 1% of dentists worldwide. He really understands the science behind his profession, and his use of tools and his hands are top notch and show his natural ability for his craft.nnHis demeanor towards his patients is always impeccable and above reproach. While he does joke around and has fun at work, and yes he is a goofy goober as I stated earlier, Dr Patterson is a helluva great dentist, and is the best in town!

Best dentist in town!! Entire staff friendly and very easy to work with. Willing to help any way they can. The Doctor, himself, even called , after hours, to schedule me a root canal with a specialist and it was my first visit to his office. Never received such great customer service or care from a dentist and his staff.

I tried Dr. Patterson recently due to he is in network with BCSC. My first visit was great I received an estimate on work needed. I was told based on BCBS my portion would be 200.00 of the 400.00 charge. Everything still going good had the work done paid my 200.00. About 2 weeks later I received a bill from Dr Patterson office for 162.00. I was confused called my insurance company was told the service denied as non-covered. I then call Dr Patterson office talked with a staff member and told them the service denied as non-covered. My first question was did you obtain a prior authorization from BCSC. I was told no they don’t do that . I asked why wasn’t I told that upfront so I could call insurance company I would have needed the office to give me a procedure code. I was told very rudely we file your insurance as a courtesy. Per BCSC in network providers would need to file the claim if they wish to be paid. I told her I guess I will switch back to my old dentist, her response that’s fine. I asked that Dr Patterson call me, I never received a call. I had to go in to the office to have something checked about 2,weeks after the incident with staff. I asked Dr Patterson if his staff made him aware of the issues he replied yes. I told him what happened he agreed they don’t do prior authorizations he agreed with the staff . I told him I felt I was mislead from the beginning. He did apologize for that. He never apologized about how the staff talked to me.She was in the room with us and she agreed that is what she told me. I paid the 162.00 left and will not be back. I had referred 3 other people that changed their mind not using him .nnI am not saying he isn’t a good dentist just make sure if your insurance company requires prior authorizations on service you best make sure this has been done before you have the work done. Dr Patterson stated he isn’t going to let the insurance company dictate how he treats his patients. That is fine,but please communicate this with your patient. If I had known this was not covered we could have taken another avenue that was covered. I was told by the front desk when I paid the 162.00 that they would have done a prior authorization if I would have asked . I called BCSC was told thenProvider doesn’t have to do a prior authorization;however,BCSC recommend they do.nnIf not you will be responsible for the entire charge.
