The lead instructor, Bekah Maddox, will welcome you with a smile and open arms as soon as you arrive. She has a love for people and helping them see their own God given value and has a wonderful team to help her. Many of them are four legged and large, as in horses. Her husband, Mark, adds to this dynamic duo. They are professional and knowledgeable, they are wise and encourage every little step toward confidence, growth, and sometimes healing.nI highly recommend Dark Horse and H&H for anyone who wants to feed their soul and grow. Whether you are 5 or 65, you can benefit from this great family business.
I have known Bekah for a few years. She is teaching my daughter horse lessons. Her knowledge of horses is outstanding! She teaches in a way that is easy to follow and makes riding horses fun! She teaches more then just how to get on the horse and ride. She truly teaches all the aspects of what you need to know to be a well-rounded horse rider. I highly recommend Dark Horse Horsemanship!
Bekah and Mark are excellent horsemen and teachers as well. They relate to each need of their students whether they be adult or a child, a student with special needs or one like me that just needs to tune up their horsemanship! I love working with them and going to their facility. They truly care and it shows! You will not be disappointed! I wish I was a kid again an could go to camp! :)
I have been bringing my daughter to Dark Horse for riding lessons for almost 2 years now! Bekah is extremely knowledgeable and really takes the time with the kids!! The horses are well taken care of and always seem happy to see the kids! They have definite personalities and it’s so great to see. My daughter has some anxiety and she said the only time she doesn’t have any worries is when she is with the horses!nI would HIGHLY recommend Dark Horse if you are searching for an instructor or horse camp for your child/children.
If you want your children to learn excellent horsemanship skills while having lots of fun, you want Bekah Maddox teaching them. She and her husband, Mark, have superb skills in natural horsemanship. When you combine that knowledge with a teacher who can target a student’s skill level and style of learning, it’s a great fit. If you need assistance in training your horse or yourself, give them a call. I’m always excited to go there for lessons and clinics as they help me and my mare progress in my horsemanship journey.
