Peckerwood Knob Cabins

The cabins are located just off of the highway on a well maintained dirt road. Upon arrival you will notice your cabin essentially has its own private scenic outlook similar to the Tahlimena Scenic HWY. Surrounded by trees with a great view make this a unique stay. Outside you will also find a large deck and a outdoor picnic area with a fire pit, charcoal grill, and a hammock.nInside the sunrise cabin you will find a very clean and well maintained two bedroom living area. The rooms are spacious and doesn’t feel cramped at all. The living room has two large couches with recliners nestled around a fireplace with wood the owners provide. The first floor has a well stocked kitchen, just bring food, a full bathroom, and a queen bed. Upstairs is a second bedroom and bathroom with a king bed. Again, each of the bedrooms have lots of extra room.nThe owners have put a great deal of care into providing extra comfy beds and nice sheets and blankets as well as soft towels. Many rentals usually pass on second hand items. Not here. You feel like a guest at a nice hotel.nMost importantly, this cabin is centered perfectly for the area. 20 minutes to the Tahlimena HWY, 35 to Queen Wilhemena State Park, 45 to Beavers Bend, and 35 miles to the north section of Cossatot River area. While it lacks restaurants nearby you are close to some fun towns like Mena or Hochatown that has more than you would expect.nI highly recommend this cabin and by the way be prepared for the sunrise here. It’s not the sunrise cabin for nothing.

Beautiful cabin, fantastic view. This will be a repeat trip during the best time for foliage next year.

The best place for a relatively close getaway! Great for small families. Just such an absolutely beautiful, very secluded location!! Cabins are gorgeous and are stocked with everything you'll need (besides food)! Will be back!
